A most excellent argument for the value of walking! Although, I rarely get out there before breakfast...

Benjamin Franklin was already dealing with gout during his final stay in London on the eve of the Revolution. 'Benjamin Franklin in London: The British Life of America's Founding Father' details this among much else. While he no doubt complained of the gout attacks, Franklin was very aware that he could have had it much worse. Such realization can still do one good in many facets of life.
